From Harvard to BGO, by way of Goldman Sachs. It’s been quite a whirlwind for Randa Dreznick Rosner.

In her 10 years at Goldman, she played with the big money, investing on the bank’s behalf through its real estate arm.

“We had the opportunity to lead,” Rosner said. “I had the opportunity to lead in different geographic markets, where we could invest across the risk and return spectrum across different funds. In that role, I would set forth recommendations based on my geographic coverage, where I thought there was an interesting market opportunity. It was a great, formative experience for me.”

She was responsible for the central U.S., and she also spent some time looking on the East Coast.

At BGO, formerly known as BentallGreenOak, Rosner applies the knowledge she gained at Goldman, in particular the exposure to a multitude of commercial property sectors, geographies and the risk/reward spectrum from core to value-add. “I think [it] has been very translatable to my role at BGO,” she said.

BGO is a global investment firm with $82 billion of assets under management and 27 offices worldwide. Within that reach, Rosner helps oversee its value-add investing strategy. She is also involved in client engagement, and is a principal on its investing team, where she leads teams overseeing Texas, the Carolinas and parts of the Northeast.

Rosner has transacted on more than $1 billion of investment opportunities, across a diverse set of properties, including multifamily, industrial, office and retail. She recently completed a transaction in Long Island on behalf of one of BGO’s industrial clients, capitalizing on a relationship she had developed with a builder in Texas, following through with the underwriting and leading the deal from start to finish.

She’s also the Randa Dreznick who was the captain of her high school tennis team in Connecticut before going on to study economics at Harvard.
