Bianca Di Mauro
Bianca Di Mauro, 27
Senior associate at Cushman & Wakefield
As far back as Bianca Di Mauro can remember, she always had the entrepreneurial bug.
The Boston native started a charity — Bianca’s Dream Catcher Charity — at 8 years old to raise money for the orthopedic center at Boston Children’s Hospital, and then ran a business baking and selling cupcakes all throughout high school.
When she got her first internship at Cushman & Wakefield during her studies at Cornell University, she knew brokerage was the right fit for her. “I quickly realized how entrepreneurial the brokerage business was,” Di Mauro said. “There was really no limit to your success here.”
After her internship, Di Mauro landed a role in C&W’s 12-month rotational program, but throughout it had her eyes on office leasing.
“I felt like going into the program would be a great foundation for me in order to gain a well-rounded understanding of the business, the firm and the major players,” Di Mauro said. “I could hit the ground running.”
Di Mauro later got a full-time job at C&W, where she’s been for a little more than three years — and hit the ground running she did. She’s already worked on more than 125 leasing deals totaling 850,000 square feet.
That includes representing BXP in DoorDash’s 115,382-square-foot lease at 200 Fifth Avenue that closed at the end of last year, the largest single deal Di Mauro’s worked on. And she saw that deal through from the beginning as she was part of the team that pitched BXP in 2022 on C&W taking over leasing for the ownership giant.
“At that time, it was really the most significant pitch that I have ever been a part of,” Di Mauro said.
Outside of closing deals, Di Mauro lives near Bryant Park and enjoys reading. Of course, she still bakes.
