Adi Chugh is the Chairman & CEO of TYKO Capital, which is a Commercial Real Estate Investment Management Platform headquartered in New York and is a Joint Venture between Adi Chugh and Elliott Investment Management. Adi was previously the Founder and CEO of Surya Capital Partners, a nationwide CRE private equity and debt advisory firm. He brings extensive experience from working on Wall Street across various sectors and across the balance sheet. He founded Surya Capital Partners at the end of 2010 as he identified an opportunity in the distressed real estate space. Since then, he has built a network that includes relationships across the lending and equity world – including top private equity firms, large institutional investors, and real estate sponsors. He has arranged over $40+ billion dollars in transactions since inception, including traditional debt products, joint ventures, Co-GP investments and other capital stack arrangements. Adi began his career as an Investment Banker with Wachovia Securities in their Leverage Finance Group in March 2004. He then moved onto the Equity Capital Markets Group in New York, and he placed approximately $16 billion of financings in his time at Wachovia. From there, Adi moved onto becoming Vice President for Kotak Mahindra; one of the largest Indian investment banks. He also worked for Merrill Lynch in New York. Adi grew up in New Delhi, India and moved to the states to attend college. Adi then attended Dickinson College in Carlisle, PA and graduated with a degree in Economics and International Business & Management. He has been an avid public speaker and debater, speaking at events globally. He is also a die-hard fan of the Indian Cricket team. Adi is involved with major charities focusing on underprivileged children and providing needs to the community – namely Children’s Hope India and the Met Council amongst others.

Kara McShane is an executive vice president at Wells Fargo, and head of the Commercial Real Estate (CRE) division within Wells Fargo’s Corporate & Investment Banking organization. Kara oversees CRE’s fully integrated platform of banking, financing, capital markets, and servicing solutions for commercial real estate companies. The full suite of CRE products includes balance sheet lending, securitization, origination and distribution (CMBS and CRE CLOs), loan and securities financing, loan syndications, global payments and liquidity, debt and equity for the affordable housing industry, and GSE/Agency financing for multifamily assets. CRE lends throughout the United States as well as in Canada, the United Kingdom, and parts of Europe. Kara has more than 30 years of financial services experience. Since joining Wells Fargo in 2010, she has held a number of senior leadership positions, including head of Structured Real Estate and head of Commercial Real Estate Capital Markets & Finance before assuming the role of head of CRE in 2020. Kara serves on the Wells Fargo Management Committee, the Corporate & Investment Banking Operating Committee, the Board of the Wells Fargo Foundation, and the Board of Wells Fargo Securities. She is based in New York City. Prior to her time at Wells Fargo, Kara was a managing director at Morgan Stanley and held various leadership roles, including head of Securitized Products Group Capital Markets, co-head of Commercial Real Estate Capital Markets & Trading, and head of CMBS Capital Markets. Kara also held positions as a fixed income portfolio manager and trader responsible for the commercial real estate sector at AllianceBernstein, where she managed CMBS and REIT debt. Previously, Kara was a partner at Sanford C. Bernstein & Co., where she was a fixed income portfolio manager and trader. As an active member of the industry and community, Kara currently serves on the board of Breaking Ground, a leading NYC nonprofit for supportive and affordable housing. Kara also sits on the Board of Directors of The Real Estate Roundtable, and the Board of Governors for REBNY. Her prior board seats include the Mortgage Bankers Association’s (MBA) Commercial Real Estate/Multifamily Finance Board of Governors (COMBOG) and the Policy Advisory Board for The Harvard Joint Center for Housing Studies. She was also a founding member and served on the Commercial Real Estate Finance Council (CREFC) Women’s Network Advisory Board after previously serving on the Board of Governors of CREFC’s predecessor, the Commercial Mortgage Securities Association. Kara received her A.B. in economics from Duke University and her M.B.A. in finance and management from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Business.

Prior to NGC, Chris was with Bank OZK (formerly Bank of the Ozarks), where he was Managing Director of Northeast Originations for the bank’s Real Estate Specialties Group in New York City. In his time with
Bank OZK, Chris closed over $8 billion of construction and bridge facilities, formed the bank’s life-science
lending program, and built the bank’s loan portfolio in Boston and Philadelphia.

Before joining Bank OZK, Chris was a Director in the New York office of Frankfurt, Germany-based DekaBank, where, in 2009, he helped establish the bank’s first U.S. office. From 2004 to 2009, he was with Hypo Real Estate Capital where he originated, structured, and closed over $4 billion of senior and mezzanine commercial real estate financings.
