Helen Hwang is Senior Executive Managing Director at Meridian Investment Sales, LLC and is head of the Institutional Investment Sales Group. Ms. Hwang has executed over 100 institutional sales and recapitalization transactions nearly $30 billion in value. Prior to joining Meridian, in 2015, Ms. Hwang spent 16 years at Cushman & Wakefield as an Executive Vice President, as the head of NYC Investment Sales.

Ms. Hwang has worked on numerous prestigious sales assignments throughout her career, including The Denizen, 15 Park Row, 1 Union Square South, 1865 Broadway, 220 East 72nd Street, 22 River Terrace, 101 Murray Street, 400 Madison Avenue, One Court Square, 60 East 12th Street, 510 Madison Avenue, 511 Fifth Avenue, Glenn Gardens, the MetLife Building at 200 Park Avenue, 666 Fifth Avenue, the portfolio sale of Park Avenue and 850 Third Avenue, and the ground leases under 625 Madison Avenue, 2 Herald Square and 75 Rockefeller Center. For the sale of 88 Leonard Street, Ms. Hwang was honored with the Real Estate Board of New York’s highest achievement, the 2012 Most Ingenious Sales Deal of the Year (Robert T. Lawrence Memorial Award).

Ms. Hwang has marketed significant New York assets for clients such as Africa Israel Investments, Ashkenazy Acquisitions, Capmark Financial, Daishin Securities, Dermot Company, Epic UK, Extell Development, Five Mile Capital, Istithmar, J.E. Ms. Hwang is a New York State Certified Real Estate Appraiser and is a New York and New Jersey Licensed Salesperson.

Pascual Korchmar

Managing Director, GAIA Real Estate

Pascual Korchmar is the Managing Director at GAIA, where he leads real estate development and acquisitions, overseeing projects from acquisition underwriting and site selection through entitlements, financing, construction, and execution. He brings over a decade of experience as a principal and developer across multifamily, mixed-use, and transit-oriented projects throughout Southeast Florida.
Pascual began his career in architecture before transitioning into real estate development, combining design expertise with institutional-grade financial analysis and deal structuring. His acquisition experience is rooted in identifying value-creation opportunities through disciplined site selection, entitlement strategy, design optimization, and the structuring of complex joint ventures and capital stacks.
Throughout his career, Pascual has worked closely with equity partners, lenders, municipalities, and operating partners to advance projects from acquisition through stabilization. Brandon Kearse

President, Chief Investment Officer & Managing Partner, Jonathan Rose Companies

Brandon joined Rose in 2015 and now serves as President, Managing Partner and Chief Investment Officer.

In this role, Brandon drives firm-wide strategy and oversees the firm’s impact investment platform across acquisitions, recapitalizations, portfolio management, and investor relations, while deepening the firm’s mission of creating environmentally sustainable and socially responsible housing.

Prior to joining Rose, Brandon worked in technology investments at Summit Partners, a $15 billion growth equity fund, and as a Consultant at McKinsey & Company, serving government agencies and Fortune 500 companies on strategy, operations, and infrastructure.

Brandon holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and an M.S. in Civil Engineering.

Jon Colatrella is the Executive Director of HLZAE’s Engineering Department, with more than 20 years of experience leading mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection and forensic projects across New York City. He oversees the design, installation, and investigation of major building system upgrades and capital improvements for residential and commercial properties, while supporting business development and day-to-day operations of the overall engineering department. Jon also provides expert witness consulting and works closely with building owners to address energy efficiency initiatives and compliance with Local Laws 87, 97, and 152. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology and is a licensed Professional Engineer in New York.n

Mark Lecocq

Managing Director, Cypress Equity Investments

Mark Lecocq oversees capital markets and investments as a Managing Director for
Cypress Equity Investments (“CEI”). His efforts are focused on capital raising and
investment strategy within the firm’s portfolio and pipeline. CEI is a national real estate
developer and investor concentrated on multifamily and self-storage assets, and whose current portfolio includes 100 different properties, 16,000 multifamily units and 2.7mm commercial square feet.

Prior to joining CEI, Mark was the Executive Vice President of The Fifield Companies, where during his tenure, the company’s portfolio of active projects included over 4,500 multifamily units valued at over $2 Billion. He has over 20 years of commercial real estate experience, starting his career with a private commercial real estate lender and mezzanine fund, and with a focus on the residential asset class in major urban markets across the United States.

Mark is a graduate of Wheaton College with a degree in Philosophy and Mathematics.
