Nadia Christian serves as Partner at Wolverine Interests, where she leads efforts to transform central business districts through innovative public-private partnerships. Her expertise spans feasibility analysis, entitlement, acquisition, development management, and project capitalization—helping cities bring catalytic mixed-use developments to life.

Nadia’s path into real estate was shaped by a diverse career foundation. After a 15-year career in behavioral health, she launched Petersen Construction in 2014, a successful firm specializing in custom homes and construction management. That entrepreneurial venture opened the door to her partnership with Wolverine Interests.

Guided by the philosophy of enriching people’s lives through communities, Nadia is passionate about creating vibrant, walkable environments that serve as long-term community assets. She is widely recognized for her integrity, steady leadership, and ability to navigate complex negotiations—skills deeply rooted in her background in behavioral health.

Her influence extends beyond development projects. Nadia is an active member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI), where she formerly served as Chair of the Small-Scale Development Council and as a workshop instructor for Urban Plan for Public Officials, an interactive program for mayors, city council members, commissioners, and senior staff. She has also participated in multiple Technical Assistance Panels (TAPs), providing strategic insights on land use, zoning, and community development challenges.

Nadia currently serves on the Collin Creek Mall TIF Board for the City of Plano, TX, and has previously held board positions with the Dallas Builders Association, contributing to its Government Relations Committee.

Jon McAvoy is the Chief Investment Officer at PRP. In his role, Mr. McAvoy oversees the Company’s investment, development and asset management efforts across all sectors to grow PRP’s portfolio, including Mission Critical, Multifamily and Special Situations.

Prior to PRP, Jon was the Chief Investment Officer of Hoffman & Associates, where he led the company’s financial division. In this role, Jon oversaw accounting, acquisitions, asset management, as well as corporate and project capitalization for the company’s $6B+ portfolio, including The Wharf, Seaboard Station in Raleigh and West Falls in Virginia. Prior to joining Hoffman & Associates, Jon worked for multiple Fortune 500 corporations, including Harman International, Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu and Freddie Mac. His experience includes banking operations, multi-national corporate investment portfolio management, mortgage-backed securities trading, product development and credit analysis.

Jon graduated from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business with a Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.

Tisha is a Co-Founder and Principal of Elizabeth Property Group (“EPG”). Tisha Vaidya previously served as Director of Acquisitions, Development, and Capital Markets at Presidium, where she was responsible for the DFW development pipeline and sourcing the full capital stack for all development deals. She launched her career at Starwood Capital focusing on multifamily and hospitality and then joined Vornado Realty Trust’s Acquisitions & Capital Markets group where she focused on office and retail acquisitions in New York City, Washington D.C. and San Francisco. In her career, Tisha has executed on acquisitions, financings, and dispositions in excess of $3.5 billion in value. Tisha holds an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a BBA from Emory University with concentrations in Finance and Real Estate. Tisha is also an alum of the prestigious Leadership Dallas Class of 2019 (BCE!), Dallas Regional Chamber’s flagship leadership development program aimed at providing the city with an ongoing source of diverse leaders who are prepared and committed to serve as catalysts and sustainers of positive change for the quality of life in the greater Dallas area. Dave Powell focuses on structuring real estate equity and debt investments. A partner in our Real Estate practice, Dave represents investors in a variety of real estate transactions, with a focus on joint ventures and other partnerships. Dave represents institutional, private equity and non-U.S. investors in structuring and managing U.S. real estate equity and debt investments, often through private real estate investment trusts, partnerships and other joint venture transactions. He advises these clients in connection with asset and entity-level acquisitions, joint ventures, dispositions and financings across all asset classes. Dave has been recognized as a leading practitioner in a number of industry journals. A frequent panelist and speaker on real estate joint ventures, Dave is also an Adjunct Professor at Columbia Business School and has been a Lecturer at Law at Columbia Law School. He currently serves on the board of Urban Dove, a network of high schools serving under-credited students. Dave leads the Joint Venture Working Group for the Real Estate and Funds Practice at the firm. This team focuses on the representation of equity investors in real estate, often through joint ventures, and includes acquisitions, dispositions, borrower-side financing, development, joint ventures, management and all aspects of asset level real estate transactions.
