It’s giving self-care vibes.
Snowflake Spa, a massage therapy and wellness provider, is getting ready to open another location in Manhattan’s Hell’s Kitchen neighborhood at 619 Ninth Avenue.
The tenant inked a 10-year, 2,200-square-foot lease for ground-floor and basement retail space at the mixed-use property, tenant broker Lee & Associates NYC announced Wednesday.
Snowflake Spa, which has other locations in the Hell’s Kitchen area at 324 West 49th Street and 606 10th Avenue, will occupy space near the corner of Ninth Avenue and West 44th Street once leased by a Walgreens drugstore.
The asking rent was not disclosed. The average asking rent for retail space in Manhattan was $707 per square foot during the third quarter of 2026, according to CBRE data.
Landlord Howard Brachfeld was represented by Kyle Fink and James Famularo from Meridian Retail Leasing. Fink and Famularo did not immediately respond to Commercial Observer’s request for comment. Todd Korren and Milly Cheung from Lee & Associates NYC represented the spa in this deal.
“Snowflakes Spa has built a strong following in Manhattan, and this location represents an opportunity to continue growing its presence in Hell’s Kitchen,” Korren said in a statement. “The space offers excellent visibility along Ninth Avenue, and the combination of ground-floor retail space and a full basement provides the flexibility the tenant needs to create a more expansive spa experience.”
