Ed Roski Jr.’s company has been a formidable presence in Southern California’s industrial sector since decades before the e-commerce, logistics and massive distribution trends and booms.

Roski passed the day-to-day role of running Majestic Realty to daughter Reon Roski in 2022, and turned over the position of president to her in 2024. But he remains chairman of the company he joined in 1966 and spent nearly six decades transforming.

Majestic today owns roughly 92 million square feet across more than 400 buildings, more than one-third of which is in Southern California. Such a footprint helps make it the nation’s largest privately held developer and owner of master-planned business parks.

And the Southern California footprint is still growing. In Chino, Majestic Chino Heritage owns 2.1 million square feet across two new Class A warehouses. In the City of Industry, Majestic has developed nearly 3.3 million square feet at Grand Crossing South since 2021. The broader Grand Crossing complex sits alongside the company’s original 6 million-square-foot business park there.

The portfolio continues to capture the demand Roski built it for. This spring, a China-based logistics and fulfillment company leased 500,000 square feet from Majestic near Ontario International Airport, one of the Inland Empire’s larger deals of the quarter. Farther east, Majestic Freeway Business Center in Riverside County features 2.5 million square feet and is planned for nearly 3.7 million at completion.

Roski’s influence also extends beyond warehouses. He helped develop the Crypto.com Arena, and remains a co-owner of the arena, the NBA’s L.A. Lakers and the NHL’s L.A. Kings.
