Pilates Studio Sancta Selects Tribeca’s 124 Hudson Street for First Location

A high-end Pilates studio has found its center in Manhattan’s Tribeca neighborhood.
Sancta, a studio specializing in reformer Pilates, has inked a 2,350-square-foot lease for its debut location at 124 Hudson Street, Commercial Observer has learned.
The studio agreed to a seven-year term with landlord Marx Realty for the ground-floor lease, with an asking rent of $150 per square foot.
Newmark’s Ariel Schuster, Jackie Totolo and Jordyn Comras negotiated the recent lease on behalf of Marx Realty, while Artisan Alliance’s Sarah Pontius, Jerica Lam and Charlotte Reaman represented Sancta.
The team at Artisan Alliance did not respond to a request for comment, while a spokesperson for Sancta could not be immediately reached for comment.
The tenant’s upcoming location between Ericsson Place and North Moore Street resides at the base of a boutique condominium building, just south of the Holland Tunnel and east of the Hudson River waterfront.
Marx Realty acquired its entire 11,892-square-foot retail condominium in 2017. Sancta replaces a vacancy left by Warburg Realty.
“A cross-section of affluent, highly educated working professionals as well as design-minded locals and neighborhood residents make this location ideal for wellness and furnishing brands,” Marx Realty’s Craig Deitelzweig said in a statement to CO.
Sancta’s inaugural studio is expected to open in 2027, according to its website.
