Travel media platform The Points Guy (TPG) has swiped its corporate card at 875 Avenue of the Americas, also known as One NoMad.

The operator of the travel and lifestyle website leased 11,765 square feet at the 26-story office building, at the corner of Avenue of the Americas and West 31st Street in Manhattan’s NoMad neighborhood.

TPG secured the space from landlords Kaufman Organization and Beacon Capital Partners at an asking rent of $85 per square foot, according to Kaufman. The lease term spans five years and six months. Traded first reported the deal.

Kaufman’s Grant Greenspan, Michael Kaufman and Benjamin Saftler negotiated the deal on the landlord’s behalf, while Cushman & Wakefield’s Jonathan Fein and Brian Decillis represented TPG.

“The Points Guy is exactly the kind of dynamic, forward-thinking company that One NoMad was designed to attract,” Greenspan, principal of Kaufman’s leasing company, told Commercial Observer.

It was not immediately clear whether TPG plans to relocate from its offices at Sovereign Partners’ 100 Fifth Avenue, located one block west of Union Square. The travel media platform was launched in 2010 by its founder, Brian Kelly, to help spenders leverage their credit card points on travel. The company was most recently acquired by Red Ventures, a digital media and marketing company.

Kaufman and Beacon recently invested $10 million in improvements at 875 Avenue of the Americas and rebranded the prewar building as One NoMad, CO reported last year. The renovations added features designed to attract media companies, including a private theater. Other tenants at the 265,000-square-foot tower include advertising network Firefly and digital workspace marketplace Instant Group.

A spokesperson for C&W declined to comment, and representatives for TPG did not immediately respond to a request.
