Fifth Season, a global media company that develops, finances, produces and distributes movies, television shows and documentaries, has signed a 5,000-square-foot lease at 115 West 27th Street in Manhattan’s Chelsea neighborhood, sources confirmed to Commercial Observer.
The deal, first reported by Traded, was signed Oct. 12. The length of the lease was not immediately available, but the asking rent was $45 per square foot, according to the source.
Michael Gammal and Avery Reavill from KSR brokered the deal for the tenant, as well as for landlord Joel Berman. Gammal and Reavil declined to comment, while Fifth Season did not immediately respond to CO’s request for comment.
The deal seems to represent a relocation from 60 Madison Avenue for Fifth Season, which rebranded from its former name Endeavor Content in 2022.
The entertainment company has other offices in L.A. and London and distributes some of the world’s most popular television shows and movies, including “East of Eden,” “Severance,” “Killing Eve,” “Nonnas” and “In the Heights.”
Built in 1910, 115 West 27th Street is a 12-story boutique loft-style office building about three blocks northwest of Madison Square Park. Other tenants at 115 West 27th Street include fitness studio Body & Pole, mental health technology and telehealth provider BH OpCo Inc., as well as brand management firm Stag & Hare.
