Arrow Real Estate Advisors is marking the two-year anniversary of its October 2024 launch with the addition of another mortgage broker, this time to scale the brokerage’s capital markets business in New Jersey.
Yanni Marmarou, who launched Investment Property Realty Group’s (IPRG) New Jersey office in 2023, has joined Arrow as a senior director, Commercial Observer can first report. Marmarou previously grew the geographic presence of B6 Real Estate Advisors in northern New Jersey before leaving for IPRF.
“Yanni brings a rare combination of deep market knowledge, development expertise and a strong track record of executing sophisticated transactions,” Morris Betesh, founder and managing partner at Manhattan-based Arrow, said in a statement. “His experience in northern New Jersey and his understanding of the full life cycle of a real estate transaction will be incredibly valuable to our clients as we continue to grow our platform.”
Marmarou joined IPRG in early 2023 as a partner and managing director while spearheading an investment sales operation at the firm’s newly formed New Jersey office. He arranged transactions encompassing more than 2,000 units of residential development in the northern New Jersey market throughout his tenure at IPRG, according to Arrow.
IPRG did not immediately return a request for comment.
“I’m excited to join the team and bring my experience across investment sales, development and land transactions to a broader capital advisory role,” Marmarou said in a statement. “There is a significant opportunity to help owners and developers navigate today’s market, particularly throughout New Jersey and the greater New York metropolitan area.”
