Fields Holdings has secured $94.8 million in construction financing to build Zev Corvallis, a 13-story, 262-unit student housing complex on the campus of Oregon State University in Corvallis, Ore., Commercial Observer can first report.
Affinius Capital provided debt. No broker was listed on the transaction.
Tyler Figley, Affinius Capital senior vice president, noted in a statement that his firm invested into the project due to growing enrollment at Oregon State University and a lack of new student housing, particularly any high-rise residential developments in the area.
“Fields Holdings has assembled a project that will raise the bar for student housing in Corvallis, and we’re proud to back its development,” he added.
Located at 516 South West Fourth Street in Corvallis — a tree-lined neighborhood in western Oregon’s Willamette Valley that is home to 61,000 residents and defined by the local college and a longtime Hewlett-Packard corporate facility — Zev Corvallis is expected to deliver 667 student beds.
The asset will include 4,500 square feet of retail and is scheduled to be completed in fall 2028.
