Related Group, Tricap Sell Casa Tua-Leased Retail Condo in Miami’s Wynwood

The Pérez family’s Related Group and David Edelstein’s Tricap have sold the newly completed ground-floor retail space at the NoMad Hotel-branded condo development in Miami for $33 million, property records show.
Sunny Isles Beach, Fla.-based Optimar International Realty bought the retail condo, which is leased to a Casa Tua dining concept. It spans about 15,000 square feet at 2700 Northwest Second Avenue in Wynwood.
Related Group and Tricap provided $26 million in seller financing.
The joint venture completed the NoMad Residences this year, after buying the 1-acre site for $26.5 million in 2021 and securing a $142 million construction package in 2024. The nine-story building, branded after the now-shuttered New York hotel, houses 329 condos. (Hilton owns the NoMad brand.)
The Casa Tua Cucina Italian food hall opened in April. Casa Tua, founded by husband-wife duo Miky and Leticia Grendene, counts another food hall at the Brickell City Center and an upscale restaurant in Miami Beach as part of the portfolio.
The sale comes three months after New York-based TriCap sold the retail building leased to the popular Pastis French Bistro in Wynwood to Moishe Mana for $25 million, The Real Deal reported.
In other retail deals in Wynwood, the owners of I Scream Gelato purchased its 1,325-square-foot parlor for about $3.7 million last year.
Representatives for Related Group, Tricap and Optimar International Realty did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
