KCI Technologies Moves Headquarters in Maryland With 54K SF Lease

The company will take two and a half floors at the St. John Properties complex

KCI Technologies is relocating its corporate headquarters within Maryland, moving about 300 employees from Sparks to Hunt Valley.

The engineering, consulting and construction firm signed a 53,344-square-foot lease at St. John Properties’ 23-acre North Park business complex, and will occupy two and a half floors at 6 North Park Drive. The firm will make the move in the second quarter of 2027.

The company said it focused its search on northern Baltimore County for the sake of its employees and to remain near the Interstate 83 corridor.

KCI operates nearly 70 offices across 20 states and Washington, D.C., and employs more than 2,500 people. The new lease is a return of sorts for KCI, which previously had its headquarters at 10 North Park Drive for nearly two decades beginning in the 1990s.

The lease follows St. John Properties’ acquisition of North Park last summer and a subsequent $2 million improvement program. Earlier this year, Solar Gaines signed a 15,036-square-foot lease at 4 North Park to relocate its headquarters and about 40 employees.

St. John Properties’ Stephanie Caronna represented the landlord, while Joe Bradley and Mark Deering of MacKenzie Commercial Real Estate Services represented KCI.
