Crowe and Tailwind Sign Leases at 485 Lexington Avenue
Accounting firm Crowe is relocating to SL Green Realty’s midtown office tower at 485 Lexington Avenue, the landlord announced. The building is also holding on to existing tenant Tailwind Management, which signed a six-year lease extension.
Crowe signed a ten-year lease for 44,493 square feet, spanning the entire eleventh floor of the 32-story building, located between 46th and 47th Streets.
The Chicago-based Crowe, which opened its first New York office in 2009, is relocating from The Feil Organization’s 488 Madison Avenue. The company has offices in 19 states, as well as offices in India and London.
Adam Ardise, Steve Bellwood, John Harris and John Crisp of Cushman & Wakefield represented Crowe, while SL Green was represented by JLL’s Paul Glickman, Alex Chudnoff, Diana Biasotti, Ben Bass and Jon Fanuzzi.
Separately, consulting firm Tailwind renewed its existing 23rd-floor space, spanning 14,206 square feet.
Tailwind was represented by CBRE’s Michael Movshovich, Ben Friedland and Evan Fiddle and the landlord was represented in-house by SL Green.
Other office tenants at the building include insurance companies Travelers Indemnity Company and Fidelity National Title Insurance, finance firm Golden Tree Asset Management, and Xerox, which signed a 25,714-square-foot-lease at the building in 2017, as CO reported at the time.
Asking rents were $69 per square foot, according to someone with knowledge of the deal.
