reprintsChelsea-based shipping company CDL Last Mile Solutions has inked a deal for a large new warehouse in Queens, Commercial Observer can first report.
The firm, which provides fulfillment services for major brands throughout the Northeast, signed a 10-year lease for 63,383 square feet at 88-36 77th Avenue in Glendale, Queens, according to Worth Property Group, which brokered the deal. Asking rent for the industrial space was $15 a square foot.
John Ritter and Hillel Gal-Osher of Sholom & Zuckerbrot Realty represented the landlords, Glendale Realty Co. and Brause Realty, in the transaction. Jill Pescatore and Lauren Curcio of Worth Property Group handled the deal for the tenant.
The lease was signed last month, and CDL moved in last weekend.
CDL works with retailers like Office Depot, L’Oreal, CVS, Zara, Nordstrom and Cardinal Health. The company also has distribution hubs in Brooklyn and Carlstadt, N.J.
Pescatore said in a statement that she was “extremely pleased to bring this transaction to fruition” as CDL continues expanding in the tri-state area.
