Triple Five’s Dimitri Lalagos gives Commercial Observer a breakdown on American Dream Mall. The project (16 years in the making) is slated to open its first 3.1 million-square-foot phase in April—with big expectations.
“We’re at the confluence of three major roadways: Route 95 off the Turnpike, Route 3 which goes straight through the Lincoln Tunnel and Route 120 which bisects our property from MetLife Stadium. That area has a tremendous amount of traffic; it’s about 100 million cars per year.”
But just being at the center of all that traffic is not enough to gets tens of millions of visitors per year; there needs to be some big attractions. We’ll let Lalagos explain.
