Residents of Sunset Park, Brooklyn, will soon be able to work out at a Blink Fitness, the gym with memberships starting at $15 a month.

The value-based gym has secured its first lease in the neighborhood with 15,000 square feet at 5109 Fourth Avenue between 51st and 52nd Streets and will open come fall, according to a news release from Blink. The gym will occupy the entire building, with its space spanning the basement and ground and second floors.

A company spokeswoman declined to provide the asking rent, and the length of lease was 15 years.

Ezra Saff of Retail Zone represented Blink in the deal. He didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment. The owner, 5111 4th Avenue Equity Realty Holdings LLC, acquired the building in October 2014 for $3.1 million, according to property records. Blink’s spokeswoman identified the landlord as Jack Wolcowitz. He wasn’t immediately reachable and he had no broker in the deal.

Founded in 2011, Blink has more than 70 locations open or in development throughout New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and California. It aspires to open 300 gyms in the next five years through franchises as well as corporate-owned expansion.
