British menswear fashion brand Ben Sherman recently inked a 5,500-square-foot deal to move its showroom to 530 Seventh Avenue, Commercial Observer has learned.

The designer will move onto part of the 27th floor of the Savitt Partners’ building, which is located between West 38th and West 39th Streets in the Garment District.

Ben Sherman’s new space has multiple large windows and access to a terrace. The asking rent in the seven-year deal was $65 per square foot. Ben Sherman already moved its new digs from 1071 Avenue of Americas between West 40th and West 41st Streets.

“There are two main reasons they relocated to this building. We have a rooftop lounge, The Skylark, which is ideal for hosting events,” Bob Savitt of Savitt Partners told CO. “We also have Space530, a co-working space, through which they can rent out conference rooms without having to lease additional space.”

Savitt represented the building’s ownership in-house with Brian Neugeboren and Nicole Goetz.

Other tenants sharing the 27th floor with Ben Sherman are Fortune Swimwear and Parasuco, a jeans brand. The Skylark occupies the 30th floor of the building with indoor spaces and an open-air rooftop terrace that is offered to tenants at a 10 percent discount.

Steve Birkhold and Martin Manilla of Cushman & Wakefield, who represented the tenant, did not immediately return a request for comment via a spokesman.
