reprintsDead Sea mineral-based skincare product company Arianna is opening a second Manhattan shop, Commercial Observer has learned.
The new location will be in 1,100 square feet at Goldberg Group’s 193 Spring Street between Sullivan and Thompson Streets in Soho, according to the broker on both sides of the deal, Bertrand de Soultrait, the president of Bertwood Realty.
Arianna signed a five-year lease with an asking rent of $300 per square foot, Mr. de Soultrait noted.
In addition to three stores in Massachusetts and one in Rhode Island, Arianna has a shop in the West Village at 325 Bleecker Street between Christopher and Grove Streets.
“Soho’s demographics align perfectly with Arianna’s knowledgeable consumer base,” Mr. de Soultrait said in prepared remarks “But it’s a challenge to make the economics in Soho work because rents are so high. We needed to find a location on the rise, yet something that could still deliver results from day one. Because Spring at Thompson [Streets] is one third the price of being at West Broadway, Arianna can achieve results from day one.”
The tenant took possession of the space on the first of the year and plans to open by April.
