IMG Worldwide, a sports, media and fashion talent agency, has signed an expansion lease of 22,500 square feet for the entire 11th floor and a portion of the second floor in 304 Park Avenue South between East 23rd and East 22nd Streets, landlord SL Green (SLG) Realty Corp. announced.

The firm now commands a total of 96,000 square feet in the 12-story office building. Asking rent in the deal was $72 a square foot, according to The New York Post, which first reported news of the deal.

In 2013, IMG expanded to a total of more than 72,000 square feet in the building with a 15-year lease, as Commercial Observer previously reported.

“We were delighted to work with IMG who has expanded its commitment within the building to nearly 96,000 square feet,” Steven Durels of SL Green said in prepared remarks.

Howard Tenenbaum and Gary Rosen brokered the deal in-house on behalf of SL Green, while CBRE (CBRE)’s Michael Laginestra, Rocco Laginestra, Christopher Mansfield and Brian Dooley represented IMG Worldwide.

A CBRE spokesman declined to comment.

IMG has its U.S. headquarters at 200 Fifth Avenue and other offices scattered around the city.

SL Green purchased 304 Park Avenue South in June of 2012 for about $135 million. Other tenants in the building includes Bath & Body Works, Spin NYC, Starbucks and public relations firm MWW Group.
