Robert Rosenberg and Alyson Schmier Join EVO Real Estate Group

reprintsContinuing with their growth and evolution, EVO Real Estate Group hired two senior real estate advisers. Robert Rosenberg, Esq., 38, started on Feb. 9, and Alyson Schmier, 35, started on Feb. 17.
Most recently an associate in commercial real estate at the law firm Abrams Garfinkel Margolis Bergson, LLP, Mr. Rosenberg – a licensed real estate broker and attorney – will focus on commercial brokerage and due diligence for investments at EVO. He has represented landlords and tenants in leasing negotiations, and both sides of commercial, residential, and retail acquisitions and sales.
“Robert is an experienced real estate attorney who is looking to broaden his horizons,” said EVO President Dana L. Moskowitz. “His knowledge and skills from representing landlords and tenants in legal matters will make him a successful commercial real estate professional, as he will be able to see different sides of deals. His legal expertise will be an asset to us in our continued pursuit of new building acquisitions and will help us with our due diligence.”
Mr. Rosenberg, who received his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School, a Master’s in Real Estate Development from New York University’s Schack Institute, and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Michigan, is also is an experienced trial counsel. He has argued before the New York civil, state and federal courts, the Appellate Division and the New York Court of Appeals.
Ms. Schmier will create custom-tailored solutions for EVO’s clients: owners and developers across Manhattan. She has more than ten years of experience representing tenants. As a vice president at Transwestern she handled such transactions as space planning and programming, market analysis and site selection, financial modeling, and negotiation and structuring.
“Alyson is in the peak of her career, and is ideally suited to helping some of our younger brokers who are in the early stages of their careers, while also working with some of our senior professionals on complex transactions,” said Ms. Moskowitz. “She has a stellar reputation in the office leasing market, and she was looking to a join a firm with an entrepreneurial spirit and a global presence, making EVO a perfect fit.”
Ms. Schmier received a Bachelor of Science in Facility Planning and Management from Cornell University.
