CBRE appointed Brian Stoffers as global president, debt and structured finance, according to an announcement today.
Mr. Stoffers, who has worked at CBRE for 30 years, previously held the titles of president, debt & structured finance, Americas and COO for capital markets.
“The appointment is part of CBRE’s overall growth strategy and global unification of its capital markets business,” the statement reads. He will expand the firm’s global platform and the loan sales, loan advisory and investment banking divisions will report to him.
Mr. Stoffers will continue to report to Chris Ludeman, global president, capital markets.
“Our Debt & Structured Finance business line is closely aligned with our sales business and together with our investment banking group creates the service spectrum that clients demand from CBRE as the global market leader,” Mr. Ludeman said in the release. “Brian is a friend and mentor to many at CBRE; he is precisely the type of professional we need to drive the Debt & Structured Finance team to the next level of global success.”
Jeff Majewski—previously COO for debt and equity at CBRE, and based in Houston, according to his LinkedIn page—will take over as COO for capital markets, according to the statement.
