Infinite Beauty is getting ready to break into the New York City market with its first Manhattan location, Commercial Observer has learned.

“They are to skincare what Sephora is to cosmetics,” Douglas Elliman broker Faith Hope Consolo told CO on the last day of the International Council of Shopping CentersRECon. She along with colleague Joseph Aquino represented the tenant as well as the landlord, Marolda Properties, Inc., in the 1,800-square-foot lease deal at 1031 Third Avenue at the corner of 61st Street.

The skincare specialist on Tuesday signed a lease for the space formerly occupied by Laila Rowe. The 900-square-foot ground floor will be a product store and the 900-square-foot second floor will be a beauty center, Ms. Consolo said. The lease is for 10 years and the taking rent was $350,000 a year.

Once the Upper East Side flagship location opens in September, Infinite Beauty plans to open satellite stores all over the city which will just sell products.

Infinite Beauty has a store in White Plains, N.Y., as well as in other cities around the country.

“This is the beginning of taking them to Main Streets across the nation,” Ms. Consolo said.
