Prices will continue to increase for luxury residential condos due to insatiable demand for new product.

Where in New York is there still untapped potential for real estate development? 

Each corner of New York City has its own cultural and ethnic pride. One by one, areas are being redeveloped successfully that underscores that all areas of New York City have tremendous value.

Who will become New York City’s next mayor?  

Unfortunately, not Michael Bloomberg, but hopefully a candidate who understands the importance of a positive business climate for New York City to continue to thrive.

What real estate policy should New York’s next mayor make a priority?   

Tax benefits that continue to stimulate new development.

What qualities do you look for in an agent representing your buildings? 

Drive, experience, integrity and motivation. Passion and love for the property is a must!

What is one aspect of your business you wish you had more time for? 

Charitable endeavors and mentoring young people in the industry. I am privileged to work in an industry that I love and am grateful for the opportunity to do for others.

Greatest fear: 

The crime rate in New York City will increase. which will reduce property values.

If approved, the Midtown East rezoning initiative will: 

Create a “catch-up” for Midtown East to reclaim its proper spot near the top of the office market.

In the film version of your life, which actor would portray you? 

Jennifer Garner. A successful, athletic, working mom who is passionate for important causes.

Foreign real estate market you’d most like to invest in: 

London for the same reason New York City real estate is thriving. An international city with no language barrier, a solid financial condition, low crime rate and a strong educational system. People want to live and work there.

Is broadband connectivity in New York City a priority at your buildings? 

Yes, the purchasing public demands it—it’s the present and the future.

What should happen with Madison Square Garden and Penn Station? 

Moving MSG further west would enable the arena to be a more gracious, modern and efficient building with better income-generating opportunities. Penn Station needs to be redone. Its one of the largest transportation hubs in the city and has antiquated systems and poor circulation and is terribly inefficient in how it operates.

What New York City building should be torn down? 

Penn Station.
