reprintsThe management and development company DelShah Capital selected Thor High Street Advisors to market the 2,000-square-foot retail portion of 170 Mercer Street in Soho.
Eater reported earlier this year that DelShah chief and restaurant operator Michael Shah (Sons of Essex) had a project in the works for the space, which formerly housed the sushi joint Niko.
“Mercer Street is the established address for luxury retail, and we are very excited about the commitment Tory Burch has made to the block,” Thor High Street’s Matthew Seigel said in a prepared statement. “The quality of foot traffic makes 170 Mercer Street a unique opportunity for a global brand statement.”
In addition to Tory Burch, this stretch of Mercer Street between Houston and Prince Streets includes retailers like Prada, Versace, Balenciaga ad Marc Jacobs. “Properties like 170 Mercer Street don’t come along very often,” Thor chief Joseph Sitt said in a prepared statement. “When they do, the world’s top retailers line up for the opportunity.”
