Dragados Consolidates New York Offices at 810 Seventh Avenue

As a subsidiary of the global construction firm Actividades de Construcción y Servicios of Spain, the North American branch will combine its operations in Westchester and Midtown to one central location at 810 Seventh Avenue.
The 15-year deal will place Dragados on the ninth floor of the building, spanning approximately 22,437 square feet.
The company, which was established in 1997, plays a large role in construction around the country, including the extension of the number 7 subway line in New York and a two-mile tunnel in Seattle aptly nicknamed “Bertha.”
murray hill properties‘ Marc Miller represented Dragados in the transaction. SL Green (SLG) Realty Corp., the owners of 810 Seventh Avenue, was represented by a Cushman & Wakefield (CWK) team consisting of Tara Stacom, Barry Zeller, Michael Nahamias, Whitten Morris, and Peter Alden.
The team also signed a deal with Omega Advisors, a leading investment advisory firm led by Leon Cooperman with more than $8 billion under management. Omega will take the entire 17,320 square foot 33rd floor for the next seven years. Neil Goldmacher of Newmark (NMRK) Grubb Knight Frank represented the firm in the negotiations.

Other tenants in the 695,000-square-foot building include Sidley Austin LLP, Aegis Capital Holding Corp, and Louis Glick Diamond Corp.
