Alan Friedman has joined ABS Partners Real Estate as senior managing director of the brokerage division. Mr. Friedman comes to the firm from CBRE, where he spent 12 years as an office tenant representative.
The new hire comes two months after ABS merged with PBS Real Estate.
“I am looking forward to helping ABS Partners expand [its] tenant rep business” Mr. Friedman said in a prepared statement. “With its reputation as a best in class landlord, landlord rep and property manager, ABS has always been an important part of the New York Real Estate community, and I am excited to be a part of the team.”
Mr. Friedman has worked with a variety of institutional clients spanning the legal and financial services spheres. He will work from ABS’s Union Square office at 200 Park Avenue South, where PBS Principal John Brod and his colleagues moved following the early April merger.
“We are delighted that Alan will be a part of the ABS team and family,” said ABS President Gregg Schenker in a prepared statement. “His extensive tenant representative experience will help us enhance our office leasing division and enable us to provide our clients with innovative solutions to obtaining the right deal.”
