CBRE (CBRE), the Los Angeles-based commercial real estate services firm, has hired Stuart Siegel as a senior vice president in office brokerage in the firm’s Manhattan office.

Mr. Siegel, who previously served as a managing director at Grubb & Ellis before it was acquired last month by BGC Partners, will continue to focus on a wide range of clients, including those from the art, tech and fashion industries.

While at Grubb & Ellis, where he served nearly 20 years, Mr. Siegel earned accolades for being one of the brokerage’s top producers while also being nominated, in 2005, for the Real Estate Board of New York’s “Most Ingenious Deal of the Year Award.”

“Stuart is skilled in offering innovative solutions to owners and tenants, and possesses deep market knowledge of burgeoning districts in Manhattan,” said Matt Van Buren, president of CBRE’s New York Tristate Region, in a prepared statement.

“He is a trusted advisor for his clients,” Mr. Van Buren added, “particularly in the much-desired neighborhoods of Hudson Yards, Chelsea, the Highline, the Meatpacking district, Greenwich Village, Tribeca and Soho.”
