El Ad US Holding, the North American arm of the Israeli-based acquisition and development company, has appointed Baruch Itzhak as its controller, the company’s recently placed chief executive, Udi Erez, announced recently.
Mr. Itzhak, who previously served as chief financial officer and partner at Arik Eshel CPA & Associates in Manhattan, will be responsible for overseeing all financial issues involving El Ad US Holding, which owns, among other properties, the Plaza Hotel.
“Baruch is a highly regarded finance professional with impeccable experience,” Mr. Erez said. “His strong background will help El Ad continue to effectively manage its business as we pursue new investment opportunities, including luxury condominiums, multifamily properties, conversion projects and distressed assets throughout the United States and Canada.”
Rose Associates, the developer, manager and marketer of retail, residential and commercial properties, has promoted Jennifer Cline to managing director.
Ms. Cline, who joined the New York-based company in 2005 as a so-called human resource generalist, will now oversee all human resources and payroll functions for more than 2,500 employees. Managing a team of 11, she will design strategic HR plans for a variety of large residential properties throughout New York City.
A graduate of the University of Denver, the 38-year-old will also manage labor relations across eight separate unions and handle benefits development.
“Jennifer has led many significant HR initiatives at Rose and she’s performed incredibly well during a period of robust growth at the firm,” said J. Brian Peters, the chief operating officer. “In her new role, she will continue to consult our clients on their staffing needs while also overseeing personnel growth within Rose itself.”
