Insurance specialist law firm Hargraves McConnell & Costigan has jumped from the Graybar Building at 420 Lexington Avenue to 230 Park Avenue, signing a 10-year lease for 10,000 square feet. Landlord Monday Properties will build out the space as part of the deal, and the firm will relocate in the fall.
Matthew McBride of CB Richard Ellis represented the tenant. Last year, he represented James & Company in their 7,300-square-foot lease on the ninth floor of 20 Park. Jordan Berger of Monday Properties and Paul Amrich of CBRE represented the landlord.
“230 Park is an excellent building for law firms because of the flexible layouts we can design for private offices as well as open areas. The turnkey quality we offer is exceptional. The Hargraves law firm will enjoy highly improved space and unparalleled Park Avenue views, just steps from Grand Central,” said Brian Robin, CEO of Monday Properties
CoStar reported the lease on May 25.
