The guys at SL Green (SLG) must think the office market has hit bottom, because they are on an acquisition tear!
Bloomberg reports that SL Green is in contract to buy 125 Park Avenue from the California-based Shorenstein Properties for $330 million, or $554 a square foot. This comes just a month after SL Green beat out competitors to enter a contract for Hines’ scraper at 600 Lexington Avenue.
Add those two pending acquisitions to SL Green’s battles to take control of 510 Madison Avenue and 100 Church Street, and it’s clear: SL Green is hungry.
