Good News at 100 Church? SL Green’s First Taker Since Takeover
100 Church Street
The Farber Center for Radiation Oncology has signed a 20-year, 21,965-square-foot lease, taking the ground and mezzanine floors and part of the cellar floor of the troubled 100 Church Street.
It is the first new lease at 100 Church for SL Green, which in January acquired the 21-story, 1.1 million-square-foot property, once called the emptiest office building in Manhattan, after the Sapir Organization failed to make loan payments. SL Green is redeveloping it through a capital program, installing a new lobby and entrance and new windows and bathrooms.
Matthew Siegel and Joanne Podell of Cushman & Wakefield represented the tenant. Ariel Schuster, Michael Worthman and Ross Berkowitz of Robert K. Futterman & Associates represented the landlord.
