The Bowery Residents’ Committee signed a 33-year lease at 127-131 West 25th Street for 104,500 square feet. The lease will begin in 2010 and accommodate BRC’s administrative headquarters and its programs, following a $15 million renovation.

The father-and-son team of Marty and Eric Meyer of Colliers International represented landlord Foremost Properties.

“It’s incredibly gratifying to assist a landlord on a transaction that will directly benefit the city’s neediest and most at-risk population,” said Marty Meyers in a statement explaining the lease. “We worked very closely with Foremost Properties and their new tenant since last summer, and the end result is a transaction that both sides-and the city at large-can and should be very proud of.”

David Lebenstein of Cassidy Turley represented the tenant.
