Jenny Yoo Collections signed a five-year renewal for its 7,873-square-foot showroom at Kaufman Organization’s 132 West 36th Street, Commercial Observer has learned.

The fashion company will continue to occupy its space on a portion of the 10th floor of the office building between Broadway and Seventh Avenue. The asking rent in the deal was in the $40s per square foot.

Jenny Yoo Collections, which launched in November 2002 and has been a tenant in the building since 2005, specializes in luxury bridal and bridesmaids dresses. Its products have been featured on NBC’s The Today Show and in Martha Stewart Weddings and InStyle Weddings. Actress Eva Longoria wore a Jenny Yoo dress as a bridesmaid for a friend’s wedding in Spain last year, according to US Weekly.

“She is a top fashion designer,” Joe Friedman of MHP Real Estate Services, who represented the tenant in the deal, told CO. “It’s in the Fashion District and it’s a good price. The price is right for the type of business.”

The brand has also signed a separate one-year lease at 132 West 36th Street for 750 square feet of space on the fifth floor for storage and shipping services, a spokeswoman for Kaufman said.

The building is 100 percent leased to a mix of high-end designer tenants, such as Carmen Marc Volvo, Sachin & Bobi, Donna Morgan and the Loyaltex Group.

“Jenny Yoo’s bridal and bridesmaids dresses fit right into the genre of the building,” Barbara Raskob of Kaufman, who handled the transaction for the landlord in-house, said in email via a spokeswoman.
