Philadelphia-based Sparks Marketing Group has signed a deal for office space in Soho for its first permanent New York City office, Savitt Partners announced.

The marketing firm, which has worked with Adidas, Samsung and Google, signed a seven-year lease for 5,400 square feet at 42-44 Greene Street between Grand and Broome Streets, according to Savitt, the tenant representative in the deal. The deal closed about two weeks ago, a Savitt spokeswoman said, and Sparks Marketing Group plans to move in around July 1. It will be taking the top floor of the five-story building.

Elliot Zelinger and Caroline O’Connell of Savitt represented the tenant, while David Zar represented landlord Zar Property NY in-house. The asking rent was $72 per square foot. Mr. Zar did not immediately return requests for comment.

It’s another big addition for the branding company, which has recently leased space in Connecticut and Detroit, according to Savitt. Sparks Marketing Group leases 1 million square feet nationwide.

Sparks Marketing Group had been working out of a WeWork space in Midtown South and wanted a permanent area attractive to potential employees, Mr. Zelinger said. In the Greene Street space, it’s getting access to a roof top terrace in a building featuring a skylight and exposed brick, he added, with room to grow.

“They wanted a full-time presence in a neighborhood that was cool and hip,” Mr. Zelinger said. “It was time to start attracting from the New York market.”
