“Our fantastic location on billionaires’ row, surrounded by luxury condos and hotels, corporate offices, the new Nordstrom flagship store and Columbus Circle, appealed to HSBC,” said ESRT president Thomas P. Durels, in prepared remarks.

JLL’s Craig Slosberg represented HSBC in the transaction. A spokesman for JLL did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

ESRT’s Fred C. Posniak represented the landlord in negotiations, with help from Cushman & Wakefield’s Joanne Podell and Ian Lerner.
