“Regus is changing the way people work by providing innovative flexible workplace solutions, and we’re extremely proud to be opening our first Brooklyn location at 1 Pierrepont Plaza,” said Maria Paitchel, Regus’ regional vice president, in prepared remarks. “The building is perfectly positioned in this bustling downtown Brooklyn neighborhood packed full of commuting business people, home based businesses, lawyers and, of course, established Brooklyn businesses.”

CBRE’s Mark Ravesloot, Mike Kay and Scott Sloves represented Regus. Howard Fiddle, Keith Caggiano and Evan Haskell of CBRE represented Forest City Ratner.

Asking rents were in the mid-$40s per square foot.

Forest City Ratner also noted that two other companies have secured space at 1 Pierrepont Plaza; both Internet company SmartSign and litigation service provider U.S. Legal Support signed 10-year leases for 12,700 square feet and 10,000 square feet, respectively.

“These new tenants at 1 Pierrepont Plaza symbolize Brooklyn’s continued growth as a competitive and desirable location for our city’s leading companies,” said MaryAnne Gilmartin, the president and CEO of Forest City Ratner Companies, in a prepared statement. “We are so excited that Regus, SmartSign, and U.S. Legal Support will now call 1 Pierrepont Plaza their home and are thrilled to welcome them to the building that first put the Downtown Brooklyn business district on the map.”
