Milestone Auto Parts has relocated from Hicksville, Long Island, to 13,000 square feet in a one-story Williamsburg building.

The auto body parts supplier signed a five-year lease at 616 Scholes Street between Scott and Onderdonk Avenues and is paying $13.50 per square foot, or approximately $175,500 in annual rent, The New York Times reported.  The asking rent was $14 per square foot, according to a spokeswoman for Kalmon Dolgin Affiliates, and the lease was signed Sept. 1.

Kalmon Dolgin’s Howard Darsi and Weising (Bill) Chang represented Milestone Auto Parts in the transaction, while Joseph Nicholas, also of KDA, represented the owner, 64 Onderdonk Ave. L.L.C.

The 64,000-square-foot, one-story Williamsburg building is the former home of BFI Waste Systems of New Jersey, which sold the property, including a group of other buildings on a 5.5-acre site, in 2012. Other tenants in the 189,000 square feet of occupiable space include import, distribution, warehousing and sanitation companies, the Kalmon Dolgin spokeswoman noted. The buildings are 100 percent occupied.

Milestone Auto sought new digs because of the sale of its Long Island quarters, KDA’s spokeswoman said.
