Telecom Company Signs Lease at 462 Seventh Avenue

Granite Telecommunications has signed a 10-year, 9,750-square-foot lease at 462 Seventh Avenue, Commercial Observer has learned. Asking rent for the space was $48 per square foot.

“Granite Telecommunications were in search for a customizable space in a central location, with easy access to mass transportation hubs. 462 Seventh Avenue affords executives the opportunity to recruit top talent from the Tri-State area,” said Barbara Raskob of the Kaufman Organization, who represented the landlord, in a prepared statement.

Ms. Raskob represented S.I.K. Associates LLP along with Steven Kaufman. Granite Telecommunications was represented by William Ging and Michael Pinney of Signature Partners.

Granite, headquartered in Quincy, Mass., offers communications solutions to businesses in the United States. The company provides voices, data and communications products to 4,844 clients. Granite will move its New York office from 920 Broadway.

Built in 1925, the 23-story building at 462 Seventh Avenue boasts 24/7 access and a shared entrance with 470 Seventh Avenue. The building’s ground floor is home to Hale and Hearty and Starbucks locations.
