New York-based communications giant Verizon Communications Inc. is giving its new FiOS customers a two-year price guarantee. The offer is an effort by the company to attract fresh clients to an already booming customer base. The super charged internet and TV service has been a popular item for the brand in the past year. New customers can sign up for the service with the price guarantee with or without a formal contract.

“We’re responding to feedback from prospective customers who told us they wanted to switch to FiOS for the faster speed, greater reliability and clearer images, but they struggle with the notion of signing up for a multi-year contract,” Mike Ritter, the chief marketing officer for consumer and mass business at Verizon, said in a prepared statement. “We’ve also heard from prospective customers that they want price assurance when they switch providers.
