Israeli National Airline Relocating to 100 Wall Street

El Al Airlines, the national airline of Israel, has signed a 10-year, 14,918-square-foot lease for a portion of the fourth floor at Savanna’s 100 Wall Street.

The airline, which offers nonstop service to Israel from New York and Los Angeles, will relocate its North American headquarters to Lower Manhattan from 15 East 26th Street. In addition to its service from North America, El Al flies to 35 worldwide destinations from Israel.

image001 Israeli National Airline Relocating to 100 Wall StreetAcquired by Savanna in 2011, the 29-story building at 100 Wall Street totals 520,000 square feet and sits between Front and Water Streets. As reported by The Commercial Observer, Savanna donated space at 100 Wall Street to the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council for its artist residency program. LMCC utilized 8,409 square feet at the building this past summer. At that time, 100 Wall Street was 86 percent leased.

Savanna has announced a number of leases across its portfolio this week. Earlier, the real estate private equity firm revealed architecture firm RMJM has signed a seven-year, 5,085-square-foot lease on the sixth floor at 31 Penn Plaza. Also at 31 Penn Plaza, Dewberry Engineers signed a 10-year, 20,958-square-foot lease on the third floor.

Brian Reiver of Savanna represented the landlord in-house. The landlord was not immediately available for comment.

Albert Duryea of New York Realty Group, Inc., who did not return requests seeking comment, represented the tenant.
