DashLocker, a 24/7 laundry and dry cleaning service, is opening its third and fourth locations in the Upper East Side next week. Since Wednesday, its current two locations have been offering laundry services following the damages caused by Hurricane Sandy.

The laundry service in the new stores, however, have been postponed until early next week due to last minute work that was delayed due to the disaster, a spokeswoman with the company told The Commercial Observer.

After opening its first location at 1566 Second Avenue, between 81st and 82nd Streets this summer, DashLocker inked deals at three other locations on the Upper East Side, for a total of more than 2,000 square feet. “Now we can reach a large group of customers within a concentrated grid on the Upper East Side,” said Robert Hennessy, founder of DashLocker.

At the beginning of October, the company opened a 975-square-foot, ground-floor retail store at 1733 First Avenue on the southwest corner of 90th Street. The next new stores are set to open at 1436 Lexington Avenue, between 93rd and 94th Streets and at 230 East 78th Street, between Second and Third Avenues. They are 800 square feet and 250 square feet each.

Rents for all of the locations range from $75 to $100 per square foot. Newmark (NMRK) Grubb Knight Frank Associate Director Jay Gilbert arranged both the latest leases on behalf of DashLocker.
