		<description><![CDATA[<p><strong>Cushman &amp; Wakefield</strong> has tapped <strong>Fred Harmeyer</strong> as senior managing director and regional head of U.S. Capital Markets for the eastern region.</p>
<p>He’ll be responsible for coordinating activities within Equity, Debt &amp; Structured Finance, Corporate Finance &amp; Investment Banking and Investment Sales &amp; Acquisitions. Additionally he’s going to work with <strong>Steve Kohn,</strong> president of Equity, Debt &amp; Structured Finance to grow that division nationally.</p>

<p>“We are very pleased to welcome an experienced and high caliber professional like Fred to our U.S. Capital Markets leadership team,” said <strong>Greg Vorwaller,</strong> Cushman &amp; Wakefield executive vice president and global head of Capital Markets. “His experience in real estate finance and investment will serve as a valuable asset to our Capital Markets professionals in helping to deliver the highest quality service to our clients.”</p>
<p>Mr. Harmeyer has a legal background, having worked as a real estate associate at both Cravath, Swaine &amp; Moore and Donovan, Leisure, Newton &amp; Irvine.</p>
<p>Before starting at Cushman &amp; Wakefield last week, his previous jobs included positions at <strong>High Rise Capital Management, Morgan Stanley Dean Witter</strong> and the CMBS Group at<strong> Merrill Lynch.</strong></p>
<p>He wasn’t immediately available to comment on his new position.</p>
