The kids and adult accessories manufacturer will move from their 5,000-square-foot office in the Fashion Accessories Center at 10 West 33rd Street in favor of an 11,250-square-foot office at 34 West 33rd Street. The building is often referred to as the Childrenwear Center.

“[Handcraft Manufacturing have] more than doubled the size of their previous space,” noted David Levy, a principal at Adams & Company Real Estate and a broker on the transaction. “They will be on a part of the fourth floor.”

The company has signed a 10-year lease with asking rent at $36 per square foot with asking rents ranging from mid to high $30s per square foot for offices. A 3,000-square-foot ground floor retail space is currently available with an asking price of $102 per square foot.

President of Benchmark Properties, Michael Beyda, brokered the transaction for the tenant and Mr. Levy represented the landlord, Arcade Building Associates.

Mr. Levy has been instrumental in signing several leases within the last year, including the recent ten-year 5,000-square square foot deal with Kids Apparel Club, Inc. Mr. Levy further handles the leasing and marketing of several buildings in the district including the Outerwear Center at 463 Seventh Avenue and the Menswear Center at 42 West 39th Street.
