Vince Camuto has expanded its showroom at 1370 Avenue of the Americas.

The women's footwear designer has added an additional 6,000 square feet of office and showroom space to their office on the eighth, ninth and fifteenth floors for a total of 27,000 square feet, brokers told The Commercial Observer.

"The building is the pre-eminent shoe showroom building," said Jeffrey Rosenblatt, a senior managing director at Newmark Grubb Knight Frank. "It works well for shoe [companies] as many shoe companies are there."

"We considered other buildings but decided to expand and stay," Mr. Rosenblatt further noted.

Mr. Rosenblatt was joined his colleague and director, Rika Lisslo, represented Vince Camuto. A leasing team from CBRE consisting of Paul Amrich, Patrice Meagher, and Kerry Powers represented the landlord, Principal Real Estate Investors.

The lease comes in light of Vince Camuto's recent signing of a 2,300 storefront space at 123 Fifth Avenue between 19th and 20th Street. The space also features an expansive 1,100 square feet of basement space with asking rents around $275 per square foot. Laura Pomerantz of PBS Real Estate represented the footwear designer in the transaction. NGKF Retail's Gregg Gropper and Jay Gilbert represented the landlord.

In addition to 123 Fifth Avenue, Vince Camuto maintains a store in Grand Central Terminal as well as their flagship in Soho at 532 Broadway. The brand also provides design, sourcing, and production services to more than 5,000 department stores and independent retailers around the world.
