Since law firm Fried Frank kicked off the holiday gala season with its annual party at Cipriani 42nd Street last week, the commercial real estate industry has been awash in spirits-soaked, caviar-speckled bacchanals from the trendy Dream Downtown to Gotham Hall. And while networking and deals are often the primary objective, so too are dancing, dining and drinking—mixed in, of course, with a healthy dose of philanthropy.

But with a hefty lineup of parties scheduled throughout the next two weeks expect that slouch towards decadence to continue unabated through the rest of the month. In an effort to celebrate that spiral and introduce our upcoming social events page, in which the real estate industry’s biggest galas will be regularly photographed and reported and displayed, The Commercial Observer set out to document last week’s biggest, boldest and booziest. What follows are just a few of this season’s most recent events.
