Carter’s, the baby and toddler clothier, has signed a 23,000-square-foot office lease at 122 Fifth Avenue, brokers told The Observer.

The Bromley Companies-owned office space, previously occupied by The New York Times, became available for the first time in more than 20 years, and includes 14.5–foot ceilings and a T-shaped floorplan, according to the landlord’s website.

Carter’s is relocating from space it rented in Soho, brokers said.

Brian Given, Steven Jaray and Sheena Gohil of Colliers International arranged the 10-year lease, with an asking rent of $50 per square foot, on behalf of Carter’s. Nicholas Haines and Peter Tong of The Bromley Companies represented the landlord in-house.
