666 Fifth 225x300 Law Firm Lands 48K Foot Lease at 666 Fifth AveSchiff Hardin traces its roots to Civil War Chicago, but since the 1970s, it has had a growing presence across the country, including its move to New York in 1991. Given its growing prominence, the firm is moving its headquarters to an apropriately handsome location, 666 Fifth Avenue.

The 28-attorney office, part of a 400-person firm, will occupy 48,000 square feet on the 16th and 17th floors of the aluminum-clad tower, joining the ranks of recent tenants Citibank and Uniqlo. The firm signed a 10-year lease.

“At the end of the day, we’re very pleased to add Schiff Hardin to the great tenant roster here at 666 Fifth,” Jared Kushner, a principal of landlord Kushner Companies, told The Observer. (Mr. Kushner is the paper’s publisher as well.)

The tenant was repped by Scott Gottlieb and Michael Wellen of CB Richard Ellis. Howard Fiddle, also of CBRE (CBRE), represented 666 Fifth.
