1776 Broadway

Those selfless folks at Bond Real Estate have discovered that if you get good enough at finding space for others, eventually you’ll need some more for yourself. The decade-old firm has signed an eight-year renewal and expansion for 10,800 square feet at its current office at 1776 Broadway, Crain’s reports.

Bond has added 100 people in the past year and hopes to add another 80 soon, and apparently its 19th-floor office space was starting to feel a bit crowded. “They’re doing well and hiring a lot of people,” said Newmark Knight Frank‘s Jeffrey Rosenblatt, who represented the tenant.

The firm will take the full second floor of the building, which is a bit of an inconvenient 17-floor commute. But Mr. Rosenblatt said the firm was quite taken with the spot, easily accessible for walk-ups by clients.

Peter Berti of Cushman & Wakefield represented landlord ULM Holding Corp.

Bond New York has four other Manhattan offices.
